A CHRISTMAS CAROL by CHARLES DICKENS: SUMMARY: Mr. Scrooge´s only friend, Marley died seven years ago. Now, seven years later, Mr. Scrooge was working at his counting house, when somebody knocked his door. His assistant went to open it. It was Mr. Scrooge´s nephew. He invited him to celebrate the Christmas Eve in his house. Mr. Scrooge said: "No, I want to stay alone". When he´s nephew went out, two men proposed Mr. Scrooge, to colaborate for the poor, the people who was ill and the homeless. But he said: "No. I want to be left alone"! Then, he went home.
